Smart Event was born from a simple idea: Event planning should be powerful, intuitive, and accessible for every venue and planner. The idea came from John Vásquez, who spent twenty years traveling the world producing events for hotels, restaurants, and global brands. After using different platforms, it became clear that the industry needed something better.
Most tools were either overpriced or overloaded with features that made everyday planning slow and complicated. Hospitality teams were forced to adapt to complex systems.
We built software that works the way planners actually work. Easy to learn. Fast to use. Focused on the essentials that help increase bookings and impress clients.
As the industry evolved, Smart Event continued to expand its capabilities. We studied the workflow of planners in hotels, beach clubs, restaurants, and independent venues across major destinations.
